With over 14 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll administration, I have developed a comprehensive skill set in financial management, including VAT reconciliation, multi-currency transactions, and year-end procedures.
In my current and previous roles as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator, I have managed a wide range of accounting functions, including sales and purchase invoicing, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and VAT returns. I have worked extensively with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero, and have a deep understanding of how to ensure compliance with financial deadlines, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. I am also experienced in handling multi-currency transactions, including GBP, EUR, and USD, which I believe will be beneficial for your organization as it engages with various stakeholders in different areas of commerce.
At William Sharp, I successfully managed both the day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly payroll processing, including VAT reconciliation and year-end journal entries, all while maintaining a proactive and organized approach. My role also involved liaising with chartered accountants and supporting year-end procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with external audit requirements.
Additionally, my AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping and Xero/Payroll certification further equip me with the technical skills required to succeed in this role.
