Managing double-entry accounting using software like Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Excel.
Reconciling bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Preparing and processing invoices, bills, and vendor payments.
Tracking customer payments, issuing receipts, and following up on outstanding balances.
Ensuring timely settlement of dues to suppliers and collection from clients.
Preparing ageing reports for effective credit control.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and handling input tax credit.
Preparing and filing TDS returns (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.) and issuing TDS certificates.
Ensuring compliance with Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements.
Assisting in tax audits and preparing necessary reports.
4. Payroll & Employee Accounting
Preparing monthly payroll, salary slips, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT).
Handling employee reimbursements, advances, and settlements.
Maintaining accurate employee records for compliance.
