22 years’ accounting and management account experience includes:
• Financial reporting: Preparing statutory accounts (UK GAAP, FRS 105 / 102) for Limited Companies, partnerships and sole traders; finalising financial statements and year-end adjustments; conducting trial balance reviews and various analysis; consolidating group accounts; complying with regulatory and tax requirements.
• Management accounting: Preparation and finalising monthly, quarterly management accounts with budgeting and forecasting; variance analysis; cost control; profit and loss analysis.
• Taxation and regulatory: VAT returns; corporation tax; personal tax returns; liaising with auditors and HMRC.
• Accounting: Bookkeeping; balance sheet and P&L reconciliations; accruals / prepayments; payroll; depreciation.
• Systems: Excel, Dext, Xero, SAGE, QuickBooks, VT Transactions, IRIS, TaxCalc, TaxFiler, Sage Payroll, Senta.
